Revise the prepositions in, on, under, near and behind with body languages
Use real objects of the classroom to ask questions like :
a)T: What can you see in our classroom?
S1: I can see a blackboard?
T: Where is the blackboard?
S1: It’s on the wall
b)T: Can you see an orange in the classroom?
S2: No, I can’t .
T: Can you see a ball?
S2: Yes, I can.
T: Where is the ball? Is it on the chair?
S2: No, it’s under the chair.
c)T: Where are those students? Are they behind the door?
S3: No, they are near the window.
Use the flashcards to revise the sentences like this way:
1.Where is the clock?
2.Are the pictures on the floor?
3.Where are the books?
4.Is Lily’s letter under the pencil-box?
5.Can you see some shoes? Where are they?
6.Where are the flowers?
7.What can you see under the chair?
8.Where is Lily’s bed?
9.Is her coat near the dress?
Step3 Presentation
Ask “Where is my card? I can’t find it? Can you see it?” ( The teacher pretends to look for it.)
Get one student to find it for the teacher and tell the teacher where it is
S1 can say: “Er, is it under the teacher’s desk?”
T:“No, it isn’t .”
S2 can say: “Er, is it behind the door?”
T:“No, it isn’t”
S3 can say : “I think it’s in the box.”
T:“Yes, you’re right!”
S3: “Here you are.”
T: “Thanks!”
S3: “You are welcome!”
